ANSWERS TO MY 11 QUESTIONS FROM SAVANNA

What (or who) inspired you to start blogging?

I started blogging as a way of connecting with readers and fellow writers as I began my writing journey.

How has blogging changed your life overall?

I’ve been blessed by the interaction with readers, and pray I honor the Lord in every post.

What has been your favorite read of 2019 so far?

Hidden Among the Stars by Melanie Dobson

What is one of your favorite songs?

Hymn: Great is Thy Faithfulness   Contemporary: Thy Will be Done

If you could take a vacation anywhere, what destination would you choose?

Hmm. I would say the Pacific Northwest (Washington State and Oregon) I fell in love with it thirty years ago. Would love to return.

When you aren’t reading or blogging, what are you most likely to be doing?

Hiking, biking, gardening, spending time with family

What would you say is the easiest part about being a writer and what is the hardest part?

I don’t know about the easiest, but the most fun is developing and getting to know my characters as well as plotting the story-line. The hardest is finding time to write regularly and as much as I would like!

Who inspired your love of reading?

I don’t know that anyone inspired it. I just enjoy it the same as I do writing! It’s a God-given love I suppose.  =)

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

To forgive others as I’ve been forgiven.

What was your favorite book as a child?

As a young child it was the Little Engine that Could. As a teenager, the first fiction novel that stuck with me was entitled, Becky’s Pony. Maybe that’s why I named the heroine in my first novel Becky.

Of all the blog posts you’ve written, which is your favorite? Please post the link.

Hmm. I had to think about that one. I think my favorite post would likely be Surrendering Your Life’s Dream to God because it encompasses giving our lives over to God, yielding to His wishes and trusting Him. That’s what life is all about – learning to entrust our goals, ambitions, and well-being to Him. https://cynthiaroemer.com/surrendering-your-lifes-dreams-to-god/
